Account Supervisors are key agency managers who play a high-profile and important role.  They are responsible for effectively balancing seven to eight accounts while managing junior team members and learning from upper management.  Major responsibilities include developing strategy and creative campaign suggestions, pitching and securing media results for all clients, connecting with key client contacts, mentoring junior team members and participating in new business development.

Primary job responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive and secure high-impact media results; pitching top tier and national print publications as well as broadcast and digital outlets
  • Develop a lasting relationship with key client decision makers in addition to daily client contacts
  • Operate as an industry expert, maintaining strong industry and competitive knowledge
  • Provide long-term client retention and satisfaction by ensuring that client needs and expectations are achieved
  • Effectively manage direct reports, conduct bi-annual performance evaluations; conduct monthly mentor meetings

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of public relations experience. Agency experience a must!
  • Extensive knowledge of lifestyle and CPG brands and media critical to this role
  • You excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience overseeing client accounts and supervising junior team members
  • A BA/BS from a four-year accredited university is preferred.
